Eden Court
Eden Court Theatre is a five minute walk from our Riverside Apartments. It attracts world-class performers on a regular basis. These include live music, opera, ballet, talks, comedy and more.
Aviemore is a town in the Cairngorms National Park, in the Scottish Highlands, 30 minutes drive from Inverness. It’s known for its close proximity to the secluded lochs, ancient forest, mountain trails and ski runs of the surrounding parkland.
Near town, the funicular at the CairnGorm Mountain resort has panoramic views of the Cairngorms mountain range.
Southwest, Highland Wildlife Park’s inhabitants include Scottish wildcats and capercaillie birds.
Outlander Country
Inverness is Outlander country; a mecca for fans of the series.
The events leading up to, during and after the Battle of Culloden is at the centre of both Scottish History and the Outlander series. Visit Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Beauly Priory, Wardlaw Mausoleum and Urquhart Castle to experience the glory of these sites.
Golf
Inverness is renowned for its golf and the city offers three excellent golf courses all within 10 minutes drive from our properties.
The Scottish Highlands is one of the most talked about destinations in world golf and home to Highland Golf Links - Royal Dornoch Golf Course (1 hour from Inverness), Nairn Golf Course (29 mins from Inverness) and Castle Stuart Golf Course (16 minutes from Inverness).
Castle Stuart Golf Course opened in 2009 and was voted best new golf course in 2009 by Golf Magazine and hosted the Scottish Open in 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2016.
A variety of entertainment is available in Inverness; from Scottish ceilidh music to clubbing.
Local bands and performers can been seen in some of the bars - Johnny Foxes, Hootananny and The Gellions.
The Ironworks in Inverness is a purpose built music venue and the variety of music genres promoted is vast. It has hosted many big names.

Inverness is an ideal base location if you are wanting to get out and about and participate in some sport.
If its hiking up Munros, mountain biking or winter sports they are right on the doorstep.
Just over an hours drive and you can be at one of Scotlands fantastic Ski resorts, The Lecht or Cairngorm
